Welcome to The UK Kit Car Club
The aim of the club is to help and support members during the build (and inevitable ongoing maintenance and modification) as well as to plan and organise events throughout the year. The Club attends the major kit car shows throughout the year providing a stand with tea and coffee, plus a BBQ with food for members. You'll be warmly received, especially if you bring more food and drink !! We also have stands at many other shows all around the country.
It's not just shows though, our active area secretaries and members regularly arrange run outs and longer trips to such places as Le Mans, Wales and Scotland, plus the annual club camping weekend and the traditional “end of season” get together. Keep an eye on the events section of the forum for news and details of upcoming events.
The Club also produces four magazines a year, exclusively for club members, filled with all manner of things club or motoring related, and members can get their own articles published in it as well if they wish.
The Club is an independent organisation, and although we have our roots as the Robin Hood Owners Club and Register (RHOCaR), we are very much a club for all makes and model of kit car, so anyone can be a "Hoody", as it's all about the state of mind, not the car you drive! Being a member of The UK Kit Car Club has many benefits above those already mentioned. Members benefit from discounted insurance with nearly all of the specialist kit car insurers, and often find that the discount is more than the club membership fee. Membership also gets you full access to the forum, and a variety of other discounts such as with Euro Car Parts. You'll also find other members are willing to go well above and beyond for any other member they see is in need of help !
So whether you own a Robin Hood, a GBS Zero, a Locost, an MK, a Westfield, a Caterham, (or any of the many other types of kit car), everyone can benefit from joining, so what are you waiting for ?

Kit Car Shows in East of England 2024
Hi all
I have been sent details of shows in the East of England next year where we might have a Club Stand. Obviously the Club will have a stand at Malvern and Newark, but these other shows will have minimum attendance numbers (usually about 5 cars) to justify a stand. So if you think you might be attending any of these shows, please message me (alanrichey) to confirm which show you will attend (I suggest you don't reply to this post otherwise it could be overloaded).
If any other Area Secretaries have similar shows where we could have a stand, please post the details.
Then nearer the dates we will know whether to apply for a stand.
1. Classic Wheels Show - Rutland Showground (LE15 7TW) - Sunday 19th May 2024
2. Baston Car Show - Grimsthorpe Castlel (PE10 0LY) - Sunday 30th June 2024
3. Sywell Classic - Sywell Aerodrome (NN6 0BN) - Sat/Sun 21/22 September 2024 (Clashes with Newark)
4. Sandringham Pageant - Sandringham (PE35 6EN) - Sunday 26th May 2024
Cheers

West Mids Monthly Meet 29th November 2023
Next Wednesday 29th, 6pm onwards, Malt Shovel Pub, Coventry Road, Nr Stonebridge, Coventry, CV7 7HL.
Generally they're trying to kick us out just after 930pm so if you're coming, don't leave it too late. Also, if you want to eat, book beforehand as they don't normally let people just rock up and eat.
Entrance to the pub car park is off the A452 Chester Road heading North 50 yards from the island.
This will be our last meet of 2023 as we don't have one in December. Everyone welcome. See you there
North East Area November Meeting tuesday 28th from 7pm
This will probably be our last meeting of the year at the Church Mouse, Chester Moor, DH2 3RJ, so would be good to see as many as possible, to catch up on your winter plans before the festivities. I will be coming down in the kit so it would be nice if others joined me, if only to show i'm not the only mad one.

East of England meets for October
After a lovely (warm) day out last weekend at the Corby Glen Sheep Fair it's time for the next meet. Looking ahead, the weather on Tuesday 17th looks good for a run out. As you may have noticed it's a bit chilly outside, so we will go into Winter mode and meet up at a cafe for a hot drink and snack.
I'm looking at the Harvest Barn (PE7 3DR) near Peterborough, arriving at about 13:00. All are welcome. Please let me know as I need to book a table.
Cheers
