Welcome to The UK Kit Car Club
The aim of the club is to help and support members during the build (and inevitable ongoing maintenance and modification) as well as to plan and organise events throughout the year. The Club attends the major kit car shows throughout the year providing a stand with tea and coffee, plus a BBQ with food for members. You'll be warmly received, especially if you bring more food and drink !! We also have stands at many other shows all around the country.
It's not just shows though, our active area secretaries and members regularly arrange run outs and longer trips to such places as Le Mans, Wales and Scotland, plus the annual club camping weekend and the traditional “end of season” get together. Keep an eye on the events section of the forum for news and details of upcoming events.
The Club also produces four magazines a year, exclusively for club members, filled with all manner of things club or motoring related, and members can get their own articles published in it as well if they wish.
The Club is an independent organisation, and although we have our roots as the Robin Hood Owners Club and Register (RHOCaR), we are very much a club for all makes and model of kit car, so anyone can be a "Hoody", as it's all about the state of mind, not the car you drive! Being a member of The UK Kit Car Club has many benefits above those already mentioned. Members benefit from discounted insurance with nearly all of the specialist kit car insurers, and often find that the discount is more than the club membership fee. Membership also gets you full access to the forum, and a variety of other discounts such as with Euro Car Parts. You'll also find other members are willing to go well above and beyond for any other member they see is in need of help !
So whether you own a Robin Hood, a GBS Zero, a Locost, an MK, a Westfield, a Caterham, (or any of the many other types of kit car), everyone can benefit from joining, so what are you waiting for ?

Beaumanor Hall Sunday 30Th July 2017
This is a cracking show in the grounds of a Victorian Hall that was used for a secret listening station in World War 2 and the selection of cars is very wide.
Kerry and I have attended for the last couple of years, we are both booked in for this year.
HERE is a link to register on line, I have not entered as a club so to park together we will have to arrive together.
The link is to all shows run by Gemini Events who arrange Classic Motor Shows all over the country, please have a look you may want to attend one in your area.
Cheers
Derek.
Kimbolton 9Th July
Hi all. another date for your diary
normally a good show and very well attended by a large variety of cars and crafty stuff for SWMBO
let me know if you want a ticket- i am currently working that day , but trying to get out of it so i can come out to play
invite below
Dear Charity Classic Enthusiast,
Once again it’s time to start thinking about this year’s Country Fayre & Classic Car Show.
The date for this year’s show is Sunday 9th July so put it in the diary now.
We have a great day planned again with all the usual family entertainment that make this event so popular.
Admission charges are being simplified this year in an effort to make it quicker for you to get in. A flat rate of £10 per car will now apply regardless of how many occupants.
It will again be collected on the day on presentation of an Exhibitors Pass so there is no need for you to pay in advance.
We will try our hardest to keep queues to a minimum and will be coding the tickets again to get you to the correct area quickly. Thanks for your patience.
Aeron View Transport Weekend

Rhocar Tour 2017 Wales Not Going Ahead
The time has come again to think about our next tour. Planned weekend is the 15th April. We need a change of scenery having done Scotland 3 times now. I know its a fantastic place. So was thinking about Ireland. Leaving Belfast from the ferry and heading north round the coast. Now only having been to Ireland once to see the Northwest 500 a few years back I'm open to any suggestions for routes and stopovers.
Ferry from Liverpool for the southerners and Cairnryan for us northerners
So if your interested append your name and I will get the ball rolling.
Andy
