As the area meet is so close to EOSB and the new Covid rules, I have decided not to hold it this Months meeting and I will review it next month.

Just a bit of forewarning that the website will be down for a short period of time today between 13:00 and 14:00 for planned maintenance.

UPDATE: Sorry guys my lunch break got eaten up by other things so this will now be Tuesday 15th between 13:00 and 14:00 instead

As a new member just wanted to thank everyone involved for organising / running this weekends EOSB.  My eleven year old boy and I had the best time.  The ride out was the highlight with my drifting buddy Andy “hopefully Andy has new underpants on”.......

Well worth the 6 hour round trip.  Car went well just needed zip ties for front number plate and front wheel arch.

I have purchased my tickets for EOSB and have had no conformation or any tickets through the post.

Will it be ok just to turn up?

Hopefully the weather will be kind for the EOSB, and on that assumption I have sorted a run out for the Saturday leaving the show ground at 11.00am.

The route will take us from the show ground with the first stop at the fuel station to allow cars to take on fuel, then out to Wymondham, returning around Rutland Water.

I have split the details into two, run out and run back, the destination is the tea rooms at Wymondham Mill ( you can go up the mill)where you can get drinks, snacks and hot food from a limited menu choice.

Alternatively If anyone would rather stop at a Pub you can call into the  Berkeley arms at Wymondham (01572 787587)  and we can regroup for the run back.

The run is approximately 1hr each way and a total of 70 miles.

It`s a huge pub / restaurant / car park / garden and so distancing should not be a problem. Starting at around 19.30pm (you can book a table for food earlier if you like).

Everybody is welcome, come and drive your cars, or come and look at the cars if your building or thinking of getting a kit.

This weekend (bank holiday) we are open Saturday and Sunday and Monday. All Classics will be most welcome from 9am to 5pm. But i will be there from 8am if anyone wants to arrive early. I will be spacing cars 1 metre apart because of the covid. But they normally do that anyway so opening doors don't bang the next car .Free cuppa for anyone bringing a classic.    Cafe will be open for breakfast and lunch etc. Site has been made all covid friendly and the cafe is covid ready and all toilets have been brought up to covid standards.
