Welcome to The UK Kit Car Club
The Committee would like to congratulate Heritage Insurance on their 60th Anniversary in 2025The aim of the club is to help and support members during the build (and inevitable ongoing maintenance and modification) as well as to plan and organise events throughout the year. The Club attends the major kit car shows throughout the year providing a stand with tea and coffee, plus a BBQ with food for members. You'll be warmly received, especially if you bring more food and drink !! We also have stands at many other shows all around the country.
It's not just shows though, our active area secretaries and members regularly arrange run outs and longer trips to such places as Le Mans, Wales and Scotland, plus the annual club camping weekend and the traditional “end of season” get together. Keep an eye on the events section of the forum for news and details of upcoming events.
The Club also produces four magazines a year, exclusively for club members, filled with all manner of things club or motoring related, and members can get their own articles published in it as well if they wish.
The Club is an independent organisation, and although we have our roots as the Robin Hood Owners Club and Register (RHOCaR), we are very much a club for all makes and model of kit car, so anyone can be a "Hoody", as it's all about the state of mind, not the car you drive! Being a member of The UK Kit Car Club has many benefits above those already mentioned. Members benefit from discounted insurance with nearly all of the specialist kit car insurers, and often find that the discount is more than the club membership fee. Membership also gets you full access to the forum, and a variety of other discounts such as with Euro Car Parts. You'll also find other members are willing to go well above and beyond for any other member they see is in need of help !
So whether you own a Robin Hood, a GBS Zero, a Locost, an MK, a Westfield, a Caterham, (or any of the many other types of kit car), everyone can benefit from joining, so what are you waiting for ?

Warks / Worcs / West Mids Monthly Meet 29th June 2022
Next Wednesday (29th) , 6PM onwards, Malt Shovel Pub, Coventry Road, Nr Stonebridge, Coventry, CV7 7HL
Entrance to the pub car park is off the A452 Chester Road heading North 50 LP yards from the island.
The pub have been turfing us out at 9PM because they're not bothered about a load of old farts who aren't eating so it makes for a short meet if you don't get there early. Therefore I'm saying 6PM onwards in the hope people will try and get there a bit earlier than usual.
If you've going to attend, post up if you will try and get there at 6PM just so people know whether they'll end up waiting an hour for everyone else. If the earlier time works, we can continue it for other meets.
See you there.
Sad News
I've just heard that Ivan Farrington (wanderer on the forum) passed away recently. Ivan was a long time Club member and many of us will remember him well as he made a point of going to every show and Club meet possible, even driving 4-5 hours to get to them. I was particularly close to him as he was one of the first Superspec owners I encountered, some 9 years ago, and it was the first time I had seen one of the gold 'titanium' finished cars. We spent lots of time discussing the foibles of the car design and how we were going to fix them. I will miss his company.
I am trying to contact his family through the new owner of his car and I will pass on condolences on behalf of the Club.

Kimbolton country Fare 10th July. Sporting Bears
I don’t think this has been mentioned yet, I’ve just got notification from them we can have our usual club area for up to 17 cars. Shall I confirm this and get the wrist bands? It’s a great show if you haven’t been before. Entry is £10 a car but it’s all for a good cause.
The Middle Earth Tour

Lincolnshire Meets for June
A new month, so time to get out again. We are starting early, so are having our regular picnic on Thursday 2nd at 12:00. As it is half-term, everywhere will be busy so we are playing safe and going to Burghley House in Stamford (PE9 3JY) which has plenty of free parking. We normally park up in the field shown in the picture. See you all there
