Welcome to The UK Kit Car Club
The Committee would like to congratulate Heritage Insurance on their 60th Anniversary in 2025
It's not just shows though, our active area secretaries and members regularly arrange run outs and longer trips to such places as Le Mans, Wales and Scotland, plus the annual club camping weekend and the traditional “end of season” get together. Keep an eye on the events section of the forum for news and details of upcoming events.
The Club also produces four magazines a year, exclusively for club members, filled with all manner of things club or motoring related, and members can get their own articles published in it as well if they wish.
The Club is an independent organisation, and although we have our roots as the Robin Hood Owners Club and Register (RHOCaR), we are very much a club for all makes and model of kit car, so anyone can be a "Hoody", as it's all about the state of mind, not the car you drive! Being a member of The UK Kit Car Club has many benefits above those already mentioned. Members benefit from discounted insurance with nearly all of the specialist kit car insurers, and often find that the discount is more than the club membership fee. Membership also gets you full access to the forum, and a variety of other discounts such as with Euro Car Parts. You'll also find other members are willing to go well above and beyond for any other member they see is in need of help !
So whether you own a Robin Hood, a GBS Zero, a Locost, an MK, a Westfield, a Caterham, (or any of the many other types of kit car), everyone can benefit from joining, so what are you waiting for ?

Hi Everybody,
Just a quick note to let you know that as it is the Stoneleigh show next weekend there will not be a meet for the month of May, the show taking its place. The usual intrepid band will be going up on the afternoon of Sunday 3rd May to camp overnight and returning when we have all sobered up and got tired of the show at some point on Monday 4th. Should you wish to tag along, then we will be meeting at 2:00pm at Michael Wood Services on the M5 with a brief stop at Junc 11 around 2:30pm to meet up with Barry Lilles and then on to Stoneleigh via the A46 arriving about 4:00 ish. Should you which to join us then please let me know and we can arrange a suitable meeting point.

So What Did We Think

so guys what did we think of detling ?
we had a good day all in all and i got the engine remapped slightly to inprove driveability
mtech helped out again and i am happy to extoll the reverence to matt the mapping god .
cherrs matt
the flat spot has gone and it drives much better ,
mayby sort out the vvt switch on to 3000 as at 80 in 5th its running at 4000 rpm as the vvt cuts in at 4200
so overtaking is a bit of a hit and miss afair .
i down shifted from 5th to 4th on m1 and as the vvt cut in i nearly hit the car i was supposed to overtake , cos
it went so quick and was a little unexpacted .
new pants on now so ok .
so new map needed when you get time .
cheers guys great day .

Minor Forum Update

Due to new bots out that will blast everyone on the forum with spam via PM, I've had to put a new change on to limit the rate at which you can send PM to 1 per minute. RHOCaR members (who have upgraded their account on here) are not affected, sorry about this.
