Welcome to The UK Kit Car Club
The Committee would like to congratulate Heritage Insurance on their 60th Anniversary in 2025
It's not just shows though, our active area secretaries and members regularly arrange run outs and longer trips to such places as Le Mans, Wales and Scotland, plus the annual club camping weekend and the traditional “end of season” get together. Keep an eye on the events section of the forum for news and details of upcoming events.
The Club also produces four magazines a year, exclusively for club members, filled with all manner of things club or motoring related, and members can get their own articles published in it as well if they wish.
The Club is an independent organisation, and although we have our roots as the Robin Hood Owners Club and Register (RHOCaR), we are very much a club for all makes and model of kit car, so anyone can be a "Hoody", as it's all about the state of mind, not the car you drive! Being a member of The UK Kit Car Club has many benefits above those already mentioned. Members benefit from discounted insurance with nearly all of the specialist kit car insurers, and often find that the discount is more than the club membership fee. Membership also gets you full access to the forum, and a variety of other discounts such as with Euro Car Parts. You'll also find other members are willing to go well above and beyond for any other member they see is in need of help !
So whether you own a Robin Hood, a GBS Zero, a Locost, an MK, a Westfield, a Caterham, (or any of the many other types of kit car), everyone can benefit from joining, so what are you waiting for ?

Sponsorship

I am not gonna try and patronise anyone by telling you all what cancer is and how many of us it will effect in our lives, so taking it to the next step, you have 3 options.
1. Help me raise money at the Relay for life in Witney (you can join my team will PM the details on how to do that if you want them) http://www.cancerresearchuk.org/relay/venues/witney/
2. you can sponsor my team at http://www.donatetomyrelay.org/groundradio
3. statistics show that 1 in 3 people at some point in there life is diagnosed with cancer, 1 in 4 people diagnosed will die from it. so I work that out to be 1 in 12 people will die from cancer at the moment. How many friends do you have? How many people are in your family? How many people do you love? I am sure you will not want to see any of them die due to cancer, just a small donation from anyone could be that penny/dime/euro that is the one that finds the cure. (I know I said I would not patronise you but if you got this far you must not of clicked on either of the 2 links so you needed telling)
Many Thanks
Andy
Running Board Rally

Hi All
I have received an invitation to this event, it's at Swiss Farm, Henley on Thames, Oxon.
Swiss Farm is a camp/caravan site on the Marlow Road.
The event has been running for 12 years, originally for kit cars with running boards, hence the name. Its a social weekend full of fun, driving skills, treasure hunt, music , quiz and raffle.
Cost is £27 for a weekend pitch for 2 people, £2 per extra person per night.
Day cost for non campers is £5 per car per day.
Anybody wanting an application form contact me and I'll send one out to you, returns to the organisers by 30th June 2009
Website Work

I'm having a rather (extreme) slow period at the moment, so if there is anyone out there that needs any web work, custom programming, remote diagnostics - I'd be happy to chat - www.dps.uk.com - PM or email me
