Welcome to The UK Kit Car Club
The Committee would like to congratulate Heritage Insurance on their 60th Anniversary in 2025
It's not just shows though, our active area secretaries and members regularly arrange run outs and longer trips to such places as Le Mans, Wales and Scotland, plus the annual club camping weekend and the traditional “end of season” get together. Keep an eye on the events section of the forum for news and details of upcoming events.
The Club also produces four magazines a year, exclusively for club members, filled with all manner of things club or motoring related, and members can get their own articles published in it as well if they wish.
The Club is an independent organisation, and although we have our roots as the Robin Hood Owners Club and Register (RHOCaR), we are very much a club for all makes and model of kit car, so anyone can be a "Hoody", as it's all about the state of mind, not the car you drive! Being a member of The UK Kit Car Club has many benefits above those already mentioned. Members benefit from discounted insurance with nearly all of the specialist kit car insurers, and often find that the discount is more than the club membership fee. Membership also gets you full access to the forum, and a variety of other discounts such as with Euro Car Parts. You'll also find other members are willing to go well above and beyond for any other member they see is in need of help !
So whether you own a Robin Hood, a GBS Zero, a Locost, an MK, a Westfield, a Caterham, (or any of the many other types of kit car), everyone can benefit from joining, so what are you waiting for ?

A live band will be provided in the Warwick centre on the Sunday night sponsored by ckc magazine or the usual fun, frolics and drunken antics will be taking place in the camping area.
I hope we can make this a fun and enjoyable event for all. As a side note it is also Beckys (the current treasurers) 40th birthday weekend so hope you can all assist in making this as special as rhocar can for her!
Any questions ask away, can I please ask that if you are able to help out in anyway with the weekend please don't be shy I will be dropping club gear off am Saturday but need to be away by just after 12 due to Beckys birthday party and will not be back until Sunday morning.
Hope to see you all there in good spirits And enjoying the spoils.
Hopefully the attachment works as I have had to do this on my phone. The areas are supposed to be marked on the map but are not showing on my phone. Referr to stand numbers above and will try and sort when I get to a laptop
Best regards

Skipton Car Show

Sunday 3rd of June
This is a great day out. There's lots to see and do.
There are some great vehicles to look at.
It's always a very popular event.
Checkout. www.skiptoncarshow.com
I usually take my hood but this year I've booked in my Pontiac Firebird.
Blyton Park (Track Day) 8/7/18

While we work on getting a track day organised by the club i thought we could get at least one pre-booked track day in.
I think i have found a good option for everyone.
TRACK: Blyton park (Eastern circuit)
DATE: 8/7/18 (SUNDAY)
PRICE: £139
For people that have been to Blyton before, this is not the standard track layout and looks to be more suited to 7 type cars with more turns.
The trackday can be booked through 'Javelin trackdays' through this link
http://www.javelintrackdays.co.uk/trackdays/July/Blyton-Park-8th-July-2018
The format for the day is as follows
If you are interested in this event please let me know as if there is enough of us i may be able to get us a discount for the club, or you can just book yourself on with the link above and post on here so we know who is going.
Hope this is a good start for people towards new events for the club!!
Stoneleigh

Hi people,
Planning to drive my stainless to the show on Sunday just to hello really but, I could possibly be available on Sat to help set up? Only driven my car 6 miles so far (with several fuel supply breakdowns). Fancy pants new Facet pump fitted and I'm quietly confident.
Going to try and find time the in evenings and Fri to prove reliability.
Anyway, I'm really local (just near Kenilworth) so, if you feel that you need a hand just post a reply.
Greg.
Coolbox

Does any one have a cool box i can borrow for stoneleigh to keep the burgers in?? Ideally Leicester or notts so i can pick up but if one can be brought to stoneleigh that would be great.
many thanks
Keith
Lincolnshire Meet For May

Obviously Stoneleigh will be the main meeting for May, but that leaves us 3 weeks before the end of the month, hopefully with good weather.
It's time we had a meeting in the South, so I propose Saturday 19th May, and that we go to the Nene Valley Railway station at Wansford ( It obviously has plenty to look around (I actually learnt to drive a steam train there a couple of years ago) has a picnic area and a cafe.
Obviously weather dependent, so this is just something to pencil in. I'll go into greater detail nearer the date,
So far I have interest from:
1. Me
2. Nigel & Helen (niduncan)
3. Andy (AndyW)
if anyone else fancies it let me know.

South Yorkshire/derbyshire Area To Stoneleigh

Not sure if I have missed a post regarding this. Are we meeting up at Trowell services on Saturday as usual. I can do any time to fit in with others, but how does 11.30 sound. Any other time suggestions are more than welcome and so is anyone wishing to join us.
