Welcome to The UK Kit Car Club
The Committee would like to congratulate Heritage Insurance on their 60th Anniversary in 2025
It's not just shows though, our active area secretaries and members regularly arrange run outs and longer trips to such places as Le Mans, Wales and Scotland, plus the annual club camping weekend and the traditional “end of season” get together. Keep an eye on the events section of the forum for news and details of upcoming events.
The Club also produces four magazines a year, exclusively for club members, filled with all manner of things club or motoring related, and members can get their own articles published in it as well if they wish.
The Club is an independent organisation, and although we have our roots as the Robin Hood Owners Club and Register (RHOCaR), we are very much a club for all makes and model of kit car, so anyone can be a "Hoody", as it's all about the state of mind, not the car you drive! Being a member of The UK Kit Car Club has many benefits above those already mentioned. Members benefit from discounted insurance with nearly all of the specialist kit car insurers, and often find that the discount is more than the club membership fee. Membership also gets you full access to the forum, and a variety of other discounts such as with Euro Car Parts. You'll also find other members are willing to go well above and beyond for any other member they see is in need of help !
So whether you own a Robin Hood, a GBS Zero, a Locost, an MK, a Westfield, a Caterham, (or any of the many other types of kit car), everyone can benefit from joining, so what are you waiting for ?

Stonleigh

King John is very well, collection tomorrow scheduled.
Some plastic glasses also ordered.
If you can find space for your favorite pot, pack it. We ran short of plastic glasses last year, some were not mindful of the limited supply!
Be safe BYO.
Alan in King John land.

Classics On The Common

Classics on the common is a weekday/eve show that I have attended for the past 5 years, It attracts thousands of people and all kinds of weird and wonderful classic cars,
This year it is being held on the Wednesday 27th of July, Now, it is only open to classic cars that are over 20 years but they do invite newer vehicles if it suits them, Although most of our cars are not that old Its a fantastic show and would be great to get some of our cars on the common,
The pub puts on a beer tent and does the best hog roast (apart from ours of course)
http://www.classicsonthecommon.com/
If I can get some numbers to put forward to the commitee I will see if they can accomodate us, Its only £6
Anyone up for it?
Put you names below and I'll keep the list updated, cut off point is 15th of May so that i have enough time to corospond with the organisers
Thanks
Dave

London To Brighton Kit Car Run

I've been looking through my yearly roster and noticed that i am off the weekend for this run, thought it would be quite interesting to go,
But I'm not paying 87 quid just for the privelage,,, I have not seen anywhere on their site that indicates a nominated charity for the profits, Although you do get a £7 plaque for your car,
Has anyine else thought of doing this until they saw the entrance fee?
Stoneleigh

I will be heading over sat morning leaving about 10am if anyone wants to join me
